California, currently enduring its third year of a drought, must look ahead and seek innovative solutions to combat the continued climate change and lack of access to water—an issue we are well aware of in AD-15. Join us on Saturday, September 24th in reimagining our region’s water system to better serve our communities and preserve our ecosystem. Researchers, community based organizations, and fellow policymakers will come together to discuss key issues that prevent the equitable distribution of water and innovative solutions that could combat this crisis. Hear about local efforts in West County that aim to provide safe, healthy, water for our community members while also providing housing and improving agriculture.
As we enter what will likely be a fourth year of drought, I will fight for policies aimed at water recycling, water conservation, infrastructure improvements, better groundwater management, and development of a more resilient agriculture-water system. Register here to be a part of the conversation!
