The Trump administration is reportedly considering the use of federal funds to arm teachers. In other words, Betsy DeVos would strip funding from support programs that help students in order to purchase weapons that would endanger students.

We must reject the Trump administration's plans to arm teacher and push forward real strategies to protect students.

Join Assemblymember Tony Thurmond and leading school gun violence experts and practitioners in a discussion on why school gun violence occurs and what we can do to protect students, not arm teachers.
