State Assembly Adjourns in Memory of Oakland Warehouse Fire Victims

(Sacramento) – Assemblymember Tony Thurmond (D-Richmond) and the rest of the California State Assembly adjourned its January 4, 2017 floor session in the memory of the 36 people who died in the tragic fire that swept through the Oakland-based artists’ collective known as the Ghost Ship. “We honor their memory,” said Assemblymember Thurmond. “I can’t imagine what it takes for a family to heal.” Here’s more from Assemblymember Thurmond in this Assembly Access video.
