Assemblymember Grayson Issues Statement on Assembly Committee Assignments

(SACRAMENTO) Today, Assemblymember Tim Grayson (D-Concord) was appointed to the following Standing Committees of the California State Assembly: Banking and Finance, Business and Professions, Local Government and Jobs, Economic Development and the Economy. 

Assemblymember Grayson stated, “I would like to thank Speaker Rendon for placing his trust in me with appointments to these critically important committees. On these committees I will be a strong advocate for the people of the 14th Assembly District as the Legislature works to address some of California’s most pressing issues, like promoting a strong economy, tackling unfunded liabilities, investing in our transportation infrastructure, creating jobs and growing our middle class. I look forward to working with my colleagues to bring more affordable housing to our communities, improve our children’s educational opportunities including giving qualified California students more access to our world-class public universities, and ensuring that we protect California’s position as a world-class leader in innovation and progress.”
