(CONCORD, CA) – In celebration of Nature Photography Day, Assemblymember Tim Grayson (D-Concord) announced that his office will be hosting a 2021 Nature Photography Competition.

“Our community is so lucky to be surrounded by some of the best parks, trails, and wildlife in California. To help us celebrate the beautiful nature around us, and to help encourage taking care of our planet, I’m inviting friends and neighbors in the 14th Assembly District to submit original photos for the opportunity to be displayed in my Capitol Office.”

The competition begins today, Nature Photography Day, and will run through the end of the month. Through June 30th, interested individuals can submit their original photographs, along with their name and city of residence, to audrey.detmer@asm.ca.gov. Submitted photos can be of any natural landscape, plants, or wildlife found in the East Bay. Students are encouraged to participate with the help of a parent or guardian.

Winners will be notified by July 5th and will have their photography displayed in Assemblymember Grayson’s Capitol office. For more information or questions, please call (916) 319-2014.
