Assemblymember Grayson Congratulates Assembly Speaker Robert Rivas

(SACRAMENTO, CA) – Today, Robert Rivas (D-Salinas) was sworn in as the 71st Speaker of the California State Assembly.


“Our colleague from Salinas has proven his dedication and service to the people of his district and our state,” said Assemblymember Timothy Grayson (D-Concord). “I look forward to working with him—and the leadership he will provide—to build more housing that is affordable, create an environment where workers are supported and jobs opportunities are abundant, and to help small businesses and our economy flourish.”
